PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's women's lacrosse has unveiled its 2022 season schedule, head coach Alex Kahoe announced Monday. The Hawks will play 17 regular season games, including non-conference bouts against Maryland and Penn State, with a nine-game Atlantic 10 slate.
 
The 2022 campaign begins with three-straight home games, beginning with Maryland on Saturday, Feb. 12. A pair of local games against Lehigh and Temple follow that before the Hawks head on the road for six of the next seven games.
 
SJU will head to the Naval Academy for its first road contest against the Mids on Saturday, Feb. 26 before returning to Hawk Hill for a local game as Villanova visits Sweeney Field on Wednesday, March 2.
 
The next five games are on the road for St. Joe's with Towson (3/5), Penn State (3/12), Delaware (3/19), Duquesne (3/25), and St. Bonaventure (3/27) on tap.
 
Atlantic 10 play continues with the first league home contest against Davidson on Friday, April 1, followed by back-to-back road games at Richmond (4/3) and George Mason (4/8). The Hawks return to Philadelphia with a matchup against VCU (4/10) and George Washington (4/14). After that, SJU wraps up conference road games at UMass on Saturday, April 16 and then concludes the regular season at home against La Salle on Saturday, April 23.
 
The Atlantic 10 Championship will start on Thursday, April 28 and conclude on Sunday, May 1 at UMass.
