BRONX, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's sophomore guard
Kaliah Henderson matched a career-high 14 points in SJU's 51-36 road loss to Fordham in Atlantic 10 action on Friday afternoon. With their fifth consecutive loss, the Hawks drop to 5-6 overall (3-6 A-10) while the Rams improve to 11-3 overall (8-2 A-10).
Henderson shot 6-of-14 from the field to go with four rebounds, three assists, and zero turnovers in 30 minutes of play. The sophomore guard has now scored 12 points or more in her last three games, averaging 12.7 points per game since February 7.

How It Happened
Q1 & Q2 – The Hawks shot just 15.4 percent (4-of-26) from the field, including 0-of-8 from deep, to see Fordham take a 29-12 advantage by the halftime break. The Rams scored 11 of their first-half points off of SJU's seven turnovers while shooting 38.5 percent (10-of-26) for the half, which included a 53.8-percent second quarter (7-of-13 FG, 4-of-6 3FG). Henderson scored 10 of SJU's 12 first-half points (4-of-10 FG).
Q3 – Saint Joseph's roared back to outscore Fordham 15-5 in the third quarter to close its deficit to seven points, 34-27, entering the fourth. The Hawks shot 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from the field and held the Rams to just one field goal in 13 attempts (7.7 percent), including 0-of-5 from beyond the arc. Marsicano scored five points while five other Hawks chipped in two points apiece.
Q4 – The Hawks opened the fourth quarter by cutting their deficit to five points twice, on a Santarelli lay-up (9:46) and a Henderson jumper (7:59), but Fordham would go on an 8-0 run to extend its lead by 13 points, 44-31, at the 4:58 mark and never again trail by more than 10 throughout the remainder of the game.
