• After a scoreless seventh and eighth,

GAME 2: Saint Joseph's 16, George Washington 14
HOW IT HAPPENED

Tim Cavanaugh knotted the game.
• The hosts went back in front on a two-run error in the sixth, but a wild pitch in the top of the seventh made it a 9-8 ballgame.
• GW added to its lead in the bottom of the frame, however, as a single, an error, and a wild pitch all plated runs and set the margin at 12-8.
•
Brendan Hueth had an RBI double in the eighth and came in to score on an error to put the score at a very familiar 12-10 heading into the ninth.
• The Hawks went to work once again in the game's final frame, batting around and scoring six times to take the lead. With one out,
Brett Callahan singled and
Langston Livingston walked to put the tying run aboard. Artz came up as a pinch hitter and singled to score Callahan and bring the Hawks within a run.

Alec Rodriguez came on and recorded three strikeouts around a two-run single to end the game and give the Hawks a memorable doubleheader sweep.
