Aleksa Peev converted a penalty kick as the Hawks' women's soccer team played to a 1-1 double-overtime draw with Rhode Island on Sunday afternoon at Sweeney Field.
How It Happened
• Peev gave the Hawks a 1-0 lead as she converted a penalty kick at 19:23.
• Rhode Island's Brook Cavino tied the match at 1-1 as she scored off a crossing pass inside the box at 38:33.
• The Hawks were aggressive in the offensive end in the second half and overtime, outshooting the Rams 12-5, but neither team could find the back of the net.
