Women's Soccer Plays To 1-1 Draw With Towson

Saint Joseph's Morgan Bower scored early in the second half to tie the match at 1-1, but neither the Hawks nor Towson would find the back of the net again as the two teams played to a 1-1 double overtime draw on Friday evening at Sweeney Field.

How It Happened
• Towson's Alexandra Rush opened the scoring at 31:21 on a strike from the top of the box.
• Bower tied the game at 1-1 at 47:56 as she took a headed pass inside the box from Mackenzie Ehresman and deposited the ball into the empty left side of the goal.

Inside The Boxscore
• Bower's goal was her second of the season.
• Rookie Natalie Nevins earned an assist on Bower's goal as well as Ehresman.
• Saint Joseph's finished with a 16-11 edge in shots.
• In goal, Kathleen Rivera made five saves as she moved to 1-2-1 on the season.
