TOWSON, Md. – The Saint Joseph's women's soccer team fell to Towson, 3-0, in its season opener on Thursday evening at Tiger Field.
How It Happened
• Phoebe Canoles scored the match's first goal at 42:19 on a shot to the bottom left corner to give Towson a 1-0 lead.
• Nia Christopher extended the Tigers' lead to 2-0 on a goal at 48:09.
• Christopher converted a penalty kick at 68:13 to make it 3-0 in favor of Towson.
