Ashley Orendac tallied a pair of goals and goalkeeper
Katie Cappelletti made a game-high six saves as the Hawks' women's soccer team earned its second consecutive win with a 2-0 victory over Duquesne on Sunday afternoon at Sweeney Field.
How It Happened
• Duquesne outshot St. Joe's 7-2 in the first half, but Cappelletti and the Hawks' defense kept the score tied at 0-0 after 45 minutes.
• Orendac put Saint Joseph's ahead 1-0 in the 51st minute as she collected the rebound off a blocked shot and drilled it into the bottom right corner.
• The Hawks added an insurance goal at 76:26 as Orendac connected on
Gabriella Senni's centering pass to make it 2-0.

• Orendac's goals are the first and second of her collegiate career.
• Senni and
Nicole Angelini were credited with assists on St. Joe's second goal.
