Taylor Funk finished with a team-high 16 points and nine rebounds, but a second-half surge propelled La Salle past the Hawks, 75-64, on Monday afternoon at Hagan Arena.

• La Salle jumped out to an early 12-7 advantage.
• Saint Joseph's responded with a 10-0 run as a layup by
Dahmir Bishop put the Hawks ahead 17-12.
• The Explorers cut the deficit to 17-16, but the Hawks answered back with 11 straight points as a three-pointer by
Cameron Brown made it 28-16 with 2:38 left in the first half.
• St. Joe's took a 33-24 edge into the second half, but La Salle would erase the margin.
• Down 36-26, the Explorers put together an 18-4 run to open a 44-40 lead on a layup by Christian Ray at 10:50.
• The Hawks'
Ejike Obinna converted a three-point play to make it a one-point contest, 44-43.
• La Salle pulled away from there as it scored seven of the next nine points and allowed Saint Joseph's to get no closer than three points over the final nine minutes.
