PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's heads to St. Bonaventure on Friday, after the game was postponed from January 1. The game will stream nationally on ESPN+ and internationally through the Atlantic 10.
 
ABOUT SAINT JOSEPH'S:
  • The Hawks are 5-10, 1-2 A-10 entering Friday's game.
  • SJU is tallying 60.9 ppg and giving up 61.9 ppg, while shooting 40.7% overall, 33.7% from deep, and 69.3% from the line.
  • In a narrow loss to La Salle on Monday, rookies Talya Brugler (16 pts, 7 rbs) and Mackenzie Smith (17 pts) led the Hawks in scoring and rebounding, while graduate student Katie Jekot dished out a career best 12 assists to just two turnovers.

  • Brugler is third on the team in scoring with 9.1 ppg and boasts a 53.4% field goal percentage and 4.5 rpg. In league games, the rookie is seventh in the league at 17.3 ppg.
  • Senior Lovin Marsicano (15.0) and Smith (11.0) are also posting double-digit totals in league play.
ABOUT ST. BONAVENTURE:
  • The Bonnies are 8-7 overall and 0-4 in conference play under sixth-year head coach Jesse Fleming. The squad is on a four-game losing streak.
  • SBU is scoring 56.1 ppg and allowing 57.6 ppg, while shooting 36.8% from the floor, 26.3% from deep, and 67.7% from the line.
  • Asianae Johnson leads the Bonnies in scoring with 15.5 points and 3.3 assists per game.
  • I'yanna Lops sits atop the squad in rebounding with 6.3 per outing.
