Men's Basketball Tops Duquesne, 72-61

Jordan Hall led five Hawks in double figures with 18 points and had a game-high 10 rebounds and six assists as Saint Joseph's topped Duquesne, 72-61, on Wednesday evening at Hagan Arena.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's opened a 20-12 lead sparked by a 6-of-6 shooting performance from three-point range.
• Ahead 25-20, the Hawks opened their biggest lead of the contest, 36-20, as Taylor Funk capped an 11-0 spurt with a basket at 2:21.
• Up 38-27 at the break, Saint Joseph's saw its lead erased as Duquesne started the second half on a 19-5 run to take a 46-43 advantage on a jumper by Leon Ayers III at 13:24.
• Trailing 52-50, the Hawks pushed back ahead for good as a three-pointer by Cameron Brown sparked a decisive 18-4 response that was capped by back-to-back dunks by Ejike Obinna to make it 68-56 in the final minutes.

• Hall earned his team-leading sixth double-double of the year.
