WEST CHESTER, Pa. -  The USciences baseball team opened the scoring in the top of the first, and the Devils tied the game at 2-2 in the third, before nationally-ranked West Chester broke out for seven runs over its next two at-bats en route to a 14-3 win on Tuesday afternoon. 

Joe Duffy led off the game with a walk and stole second with one out, before coming around to open the scoring on a Hunter Parish two-out single. 

The Rams (11-2) quickly answered with a two-run bottom-half, but Duffy was once again involved as he led off the third with a single.  

Evan Sinclair's double advanced him to third, and Adam Estrada's fielder's choice momentarily tied the score at 2-2. 

That was part of a 3-for-5 performance for Sinclair, who homered for the second straight game. 

Duffy also reached base three times as he singled in the fourth, when an inning-ending double play ended a bases-loaded threat. 

The senior's first-inning base on balls was the 54th of his career, which places him in a tie for 10th in program history, while his 26th career stolen base now means he is seventh all-time.  

Estrada walked twice, in addition to his RBI fielder's choice. 

Ishaan Patel notably pitched two innings of scoreless relief, striking out four while giving up just one hit. 

University of the Sciences hosts its first game at FDR Park this Friday when it welcomes Pace to South Philadelphia for a 1:30 p.m. first pitch.
