PHILADELPHIA – Eli Gan-Dy and Pedro Ramos both won third-set super-tiebreakers in the USciences men's tennis team's 5-2 loss at Jefferson on Wednesday afternoon.
Gan-Dy bounced back from a 3-6 second set loss to take the super-tiebreaker at the fourth flight 10-5, while Ramos came back from a set down at the fifth flight to win the final two 6-3, 10-6.
Gan-Dy is now second on the team with a 5-3 record this season, which includes a 3-1 mark in Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play as well as a 2-0 record at No. 4 singles.
Meanwhile, Ramos' comeback resulted in the first singles triumph of his collegiate career.
University of the Sciences begins April by hosting Dominican this Saturday morning at 10 a.m.
