Huber Receives Three Postseason Honors

2021-22 D2 CCA All-East Region Women's Basketball First Team

2021-22 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Women's Basketball Team

USciences women's basketball's Jess Huber, the 2021-22 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Player of the Year and 2022 CACC Tournament MVP, has added three more postseason accolades to her resume.

The graduate-student was voted All-East Region First Team by the Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2 CCA), All-America Honorable Mention by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), and Academic All Area by the Philadelphia Area Sport Information Directors Association (Philly-SIDA)

Huber was one of five representatives on both the D2 CCA All-East Region First Team, which considers student-athletes form the 37 teams in the region, and the Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team, which considers student-athletes form the 30 institutions in the Philadelphia area.

She was one of 39 Division II student-athletes recognized as WBCA All-America.

Huber led the CACC, ranked top-three in the region, and was top-32 nationally in both 3-pointers made (71) and free throw percentage (85.6) this season.

She was also second in the league, top-six in the region and top-52 nationally in points per game (17.7), 3-pointers per game (2.45) and 3-point percentage (37.8).

Her 71 3-pointers and 17.7 points per game rank fourth and eighth, respectively, in the program's single-season record book.

Huber scored in double-figures in 24-of-29 games with 13 20-point performances in 2021-22.

Her program-record 45 points in a win at Goldey-Beacom on Feb. 15 were tied for the most by a Division II student-athlete over the last two seasons. They were also tied for the eighth-most in the CACC's Division II history and were the most by a CACC student-athlete since 2014, as only three student-athletes in the CACC's Division II history have reached that total.

Off the court, Huber has received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and she is currently enrolled in the Pharmaceutical Healthcare and Business graduate program. She is a five-time Dean's List Honoree and currently sports a 3.40 grade point average.
