LANGHORNE, Pa. – Thomas Larkin was the medalist in a field of 22 that included regionally-ranked Goldey-Beacom, helping the USciences golf team place second in a quad-match with the Lightning, Chestnut Hill and Jefferson at Middletown Country Club on Wednesday.

Although today was the last scheduled event for University of the Sciences golf, the Devils are potentially looking to add another date sometime next week.

The freshman carded a 72, one off his collegiate-best for the fourth-lowest round in recorded program history, to beat the second-place finisher by two strokes.

Larkin, who led the field in pars (12) and par-3 scoring (+1), now has four of the six-lowest rounds in the program's recorded history (since Fall 2019).

Tyler Blake shot a season-best 78 to tie for sixth, and Joseph Kepic tied for eighth with an 80. The two both tied for third in par-5 scoring at E, while ranking tied for fourth with two birdies.

Andrew Rush, who carded a season-best 81 to place in the top-half of the field in 11th, and Larkin also had two birdies each.

Matthew McCaffrey and Adam Chen rounded out USciences' day with respective rounds of 85 and 86. McCaffrey notably was tied for third in field in par-3 scoring at +3, while Chen was tied for third with nine pars.

The Devils' team total of 315 was 22 strokes ahead of third-place Chestnut Hill, and now ranks tied for sixth in the program's recorded history.

The 2021-22 team has registered six of the eight-lowest team rounds in recorded program history.
