WEST CHESTER, Pa. – The University of the Sciences golf team once again competed in a field featuring numerous regionally-ranked teams at West Chester's Dr. Edwin B. Cottrell Invitational over the past two days.

The Devils were tied for sixth in the field of 13 with regionally-ranked Pitt-Johnstown, and were ahead of regionally-ranked Dominican, following the conclusion of the first round on Monday.

USciences' 314 was tied for the third-lowest round in recorded program history (since Fall 2009). The Devils now have carded four of the five lowest team rounds in recorded program history this season.

University of the Sciences would shoot a 328 on Tuesday for a two-round total of 642, now third in the program's recorded program history. The Devils now have logged the three lowest two-round team totals in recorded program history this season.

Thomas Larkin led USciences with a two-day total of 154, now the eighth lowest in recorded program history, to tie for 17th in the field of 69. He shot a 75 on Monday - tied for the ninth lowest round in recorded program history - to end the day in a tie for ninth, and followed that with a 79 today.

Joseph Kepic and Matthew McCaffrey were tied for 18th after matching 78s on Monday. It was the second time in three rounds that McCaffrey has carded a new collegiate-best round.

Kepic would shoot an 83 Tuesday, while McCaffrey shot an 84.

Adam Chen improved one stroke today, carding respective rounds of 83 and 82, while Andrew Rush shot an 89 and 96.

The Devils would end the tournament in 11th, just two strokes behind ninth place.

USciences competes in its last-ever tournament this weekend when it travels to Pompey, N.Y. for the two-day Le Moyne Spring Shootout, hosted at The Pompey Club, on Saturday and Sunday, April 9-10.
