MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team hosted local rival Drexel at the SJU Tennis Complex on Wednesday afternoon, falling by a 6-1 score.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Drexel won two of three doubles flights to clinch the first point of the match.
Amanda Nava and
Stow Weiss were winners in the first flight, however, claiming a 6-4 decision.
• Weiss was victorious in her singles match as well, earning a 6-3, 6-4 win in the second flight, but the Dragons won the remaining flights to claim the overall victory.

"It was another tough day against a strong opponent," head coach
Ian Crookenden said. "A great win from Stow and a terrific battle at number one from Amanda; all the singles were well-contested."
