Brown and Reynolds II Lead Hawks Past UMass, 74-68

Cameron Brown and Erik Reynolds II combined for 48 points to lead Saint Joseph's past UMass, 74-68, on Saturday afternoon at Hagan Arena.

How It Happened
• The Minutemen took the lead early as they jumped out to a 16-10 edge on a layup by Isaac Kante at 13:05.
• Saint Joseph's responded with a 9-2 run as a three-pointer by Reynolds II put the Hawks ahead, 21-20.
• Up 24-22, St. Joe's put together a 14-4 run as a three-pointer by Brown made it 38-26.
• UMass scored 10 of the first 13 points in the second period as a three-pointer by Rashool Diggins tied the game at 46-46 with just under four minutes into the half.
• The Minutemen jumped ahead 52-51, but the Hawks responded with an 11-0 run as a free throw by Reynolds II made it 62-52 with 9:30 to go.
• Massachusetts cut St. Joe's lead to four, 70-66, on a basket by Diggins with 1:33 to play.
• Saint Joseph's responded as Reynolds II found Kacper Klaczek for a corner three-pointer to help seal the victory.
