Lynn Greer III has been named Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Co-Player of the Week, organization officials announced on Monday.
Last Wednesday at George Washington, Greer III poured in a career-high 31 points to go with 11 rebounds in a 92-91 overtime loss to the Colonials. Greer III followed that with another strong performance on Sunday as he finished with 18 points and 11 rebounds, to go with four assists in a 79-76 victory at George Mason on Sunday. Over the two contests, Greer III shot 58.3 percent from the field (21-36) and 42.9 percent (3-7) from distance, while also playing a combined 79 minutes.
Appearing in all 21 games this season, while making 20 starts, Greer III is averaging a career-high 10.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while handing out a team-best 92 assists.
Greer III and the Hawks are back in action on Wednesday as they host Rhode Island at 7 p.m.
