BRONX, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's
Erik Reynolds II scored a game-high 17 points, but the Hawks fell to Fordham, 66-54, on Saturday afternoon at Rose Hill Gym.
How It Happened
• Ahead 8-7 to start, Saint Joseph's used a 13-2 run to open a 21-11 lead on a three-pointer by
Cameron Brown at 13:35.
• An 11-1 run by the Rams gave Fordham their first lead, 27-26, on a three-point play by Romad Dean with 4:48 to go in the first half.
• The Hawks responded with a 6-2 spurt, but Fordham scored the final three points of the half to even the contest at 32-32 after 20 minutes.
• Behind nine straight points, Fordham opened a 41-34 lead less than three minutes into the second half.
• Saint Joseph's cut the Ram's lead to three, 48-45, on a three-pointer by
Charles Coleman at 10:24.
• Fordham responded with five straight points to push ahead 53-45.
• The Hawks scored the next three points to make it 53-48, but got no closer.
