HAVERFORD, Pa. – A select group of the Saint Joseph's men's and women's cross country team took part in midweek action at the Haverford Season Ender on Thursday afternoon.
ABOUT THE EVENT:
- The women ran a three-mile race, with 21 competitors in the field across Penn, Villanova, Jefferson and St. Joe's.
- St. Joe's finished first out of three teams on the men's side in the four-mile race, a combined 37 runners entering the field with a combined five schools at the event.
HOW THE HAWK WOMEN FINISHED:
- Rookie Payton Kochanski led the way for the Hawks, completing her race in a time of 19:10.4 to finish 10th.
- Another freshman in Taylor Rochon followed her teammate, her 11th place finish good for a time of 19:15.6.
- Lauren Charboneau rounded off the trio with a 12th place time of 19:33.3, while Anna Albergo completed the course in a time of 19:54.9 to take 14th.
HOW THE HAWK MEN FINISHED:
- Michael Glavin took the best non-unattached time on the evening, completing the four-mile course in a time of 20:46.1.
- Behind him, junior Dawson Baptiste finished sixth overall with a 20:59.5 effort.
- Tommy Johnson also produced a top 10 effort, placing eighth with his 21:10.9 finish.
- Evan McGregor posted a time of 21:30.6 for 12th, while freshman Ian Romea rallied for a time of 22:03.6 to finish 18th.
- Carter Geer completed the course in a time of 22:43.7, while Owen Hibshman rounded out the group of Hawks with a 24:11.8 time.

The Hawks are set for action in the Atlantic 10 Championships, set to start on October 28. The event takes place in Cedarville, Ohio, hosted by Dayton.
