Saint Joseph's Routs Stonehill, 100-56

Freshman Xzayvier Brown led four Hawks in double figures with a season-high 21 points as Saint Joseph's topped Stonehill, 100-56, in a Wildcat Challenge contest on Tuesday evening at Hagan Arena.

How It Happened
• After an opening 8-8 start to the contest, St. Joe's used a 10-0 run as back-to-back layups by Xzayvier Brown gave the Hawks an 18-8 advantage.
• Ahead 22-15, St. Joe's closed the half on a 24-4 run to take a 46-19 lead into halftime.
• The Hawks carried momentum into the second half as they scored 12 of the first 14 points to extend their lead to 58-21 on a Rasheer Fleming dunk.
• Saint Joseph's pushed its lead to as many as 47, 81-34, on a three-pointer by Anthony Finkley.
• The Hawks allowed Stonehill to get no closer than 38 from there as St. Joe's improved to 3-0 to start a season for the first time since 2018-19.

Inside The Boxscore
• Xzayvier Brown went 8-11 from the field, 3-6 from three-point range and 2-2 from the line, and added five rebounds and four assists.
• Erik Reynolds II hit 5-7 from behind the arc for 15 points and handed our four assists.
• Fleming finished with 14 points, five rebounds and three blocks.
• Cameron Brown was the fourth Hawk in double figures, scoring 12 points to go with four boards and three assists.
• Finkley grabbed a game-high six rebounds to go with three points and two assists.
• Brian Geatens (three points), Shawn Simmons II (two points) and Will Lange (two points) each scored their first collegiate points on the evening.
• The Hawks handed out 26 assists on 39 made field goals.
• Tuesday marks the first time the Hawks reached 100 points in a game since a 114-63 victory at St. Bonaventure on January 24, 2004.
