Saint Joseph's returns to Hawk Hill this Wednesday as the Hawks host American at 7 p.m. Wednesday's contest will be streamed on ESPN+, with audio broadcast available on SJUHawks.com.

• Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to Wednesday's contests as Saint Joseph's is teaming with GIANT for a food drive to benefit Philabundance Food Bank.
• The Hawks are coming off a wire-to-wire 74-65 victory over Temple in the title game of the inaugural MHS Lift Big 5 Classic on Saturday at the Wells Fargo Center.
Rasheer Fleming went 8-11 from the field, including 2-4 from three-point range and 4-4 from the foul line for 22 points, and added four blocks to go with his nine boards versus the Owls.
• Averaging 17 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.5 blocks per game over two contests last week, Fleming was recognized as Big 5 Co-Player of the Week on Monday.
Lynn Greer III finished the night with 14 points six rebounds and two assists, while Erik Reynolds II handed out five assists and added 11 points and three rebounds.
• Cameron Brown the fourth Hawk in double figures, tallying 11 points to go with six rebounds.
• With Saturday's win, the Hawks improved to 135-120 all-time in Big 5 play.
• Saturday marked the 21st Big 5 crown for Saint Joseph's, and its first since it shared the title with Temple in 2011-12.
• Saint Joseph's enters Wednesday winners of three straight.
• Wednesday's matchup with American is 23rd all-time, with the Hawks holding a 17-5 edge.
• St. Joe's won the previous meeting with the Eagles, 74-55, on November 28, 2012 at Hagan Arena.
• Langston Galloway '14 led the Hawks with 18 points, including his 1,000th career point, in the last matchup with American.
