BROOKLYN, N.Y. – Saint Joseph's
Erik Reynolds II has been named to the 2023 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball All-Championship Team, organization officials announced Sunday afternoon.
Named an A-10 All-Conference Second Team selection earlier in the week, Reynolds II excelled during the A-10 Championship, leading the 10th seeded Hawks to a near-victory over second seed Dayton in the Quarterfinals. Over three games at the A-10 Championship, Reynolds II averaged 22 points, 3.7 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game. Leading Saint Joseph's to a win over seventh seed George Washington on Wednesday, Reynolds II scored a career-high 34 points, matching the fifth-highest individual scoring output in A-10 Championship history.
Reynolds II capped the 2022-23 season with 648 points for the fifth most in single-season history at St. Joe's, and tied Marvin O'Connor's 2000-01 mark of 99 three-pointers for third most in a season. Additionally, he became the 59th Hawk to reach the 1,000-point mark for his career, doing so against the Flyers in Thursday's Quarterfinal matchup.
Reynolds II is joined on the A-10 All-Championship Team by VCU's Ace Baldwin, Jr. and Jamir Watkins, Dayton's DaRon Holmes II and Toumani Camara, and Fordham's Khalid Moore.Â
