NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Saint Joseph's swept the Atlantic 10 weekly softball honors on Tuesday as the Hawks'
Madison Fife was named Player of the Week,
Taylor Trowbridge was recognized as Pitcher of the Week, and
Meghan Sinkus was selected Rookie of the Week.
Leading the Hawks to a 3-1 mark at the JMU Duke Invitational last week, Fife hit .500 with three home runs, eight RBI, three runs scored and a 1.062 slugging percentage. Scoring in every game of the JMU Duke Invitational, Sinkus hit .417 with four RBI, and six runs scored and a .500 on-base percentage. Opening the event with a two-hit victory over Radford, Trowbridge posted an immaculate 0.00 ERA as she tossed 8.0 innings over three games, allowing just four hits, while striking out six.
The Hawks are back in action on Wednesday at Delaware at 3 p.m.
