PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team dropped the first of a pair of matches in Pittsburgh on Saturday, falling to Duquesne, 4-2, at Alpha Tennis and Fitness Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Duquesne went ahead early via the doubles point.  Inigo Diaz and Nassim Fenjiro won at love in the third, but the Dukes claimed the first two flights to grab the point.

Justus Agbo battled back from a set down in the second singles flight for a win, while Diaz was a winner in the third, but the Dukes earned three wins to secure the overall match victory.  Oscar Serra was leading his sixth-flight match when play was halted.

HAWK TALK
"Today, it was important to win the doubles point and we came up short again," head coach Marc Pibernat said.  "Despite the doubles loss, the team fought in singles until the bitter end.  Today, more than ever, go Hawks!"
