PRINCETON, N.J. – Two members of the Saint Joseph's men's tennis team took part in the opening day of play at the ITA Northeast Regional Championships at Princeton University on Thursday.
Santiago Valle and
Davi Carlos were slotted into the singles qualifying draw, with Valle seeded 11th and Carlos 14th. Valle won his match in the Round of 64 before falling in the next round while Carlos was forced to withdraw before the third set of his opening match.
Doubles play commences on Friday.
