NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Saint Joseph's has secured the 10th seed for the 2023 Atlantic 10 Men's Basketball Championship at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Hawks will face 15th seed Loyola Chicago in the first round on Tuesday, March 7 at 2 p.m.

The winner of the matchup between the Hawks and Ramblers will advance to face seventh seed George Washington at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

Saint Joseph's finished tied with Davidson and St. Bonaventure for 8th place in the A-10 standings at 8-10. However, the Wildcats (eighth seed) and Bonnies (ninth seed) earned higher seeds based on the conference's tie-breaker procedures.

ESPN+ will air Tuesday's first round games while USA Network will carry the entire second round Wednesday and all four quarterfinal matchups Thursday. CBS Sports Network will air the semifinals Saturday at 1:00 and 3:30 pm. The championship final is set for 1:00 pm on CBS Sports as part of their annual Selection Sunday coverage.
 
The 15-team event begins Tuesday, March 7 with the championship final set for Sunday, March 12. The winner of the Atlantic 10 Championship will receive the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament.
