MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's baseball team got some timely hitting early and strong pitching the rest of the way to win its fourth straight with a 5-2 victory over Delaware.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Saint Joseph's (16-19) took the lead in the bottom of the first inning as

• Delaware (20-21 equalized in the top of the third on a two-out, two-run double by Joey Loynd.

•
Max Hitman drew a bases loaded walk in the fourth to put the Hawks back on top; two batters later, Callahan beat the shift with a floater to shallow left that scored a pair and made it a 5-2 game.

• The bullpen took over from that point, scattering five hits over the final six innings and keeping the Blue Hens off the board to secure the win.
