PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team kicked off action in the singles qualifying portion of the ITA Northeast Regional Championships on Thursday at the University of Pennsylvania.
Justus Agbo was in the draw, pushing his opening match to a third set before falling in the first round to a player from Rider. He then dropped a heartbreaker in the consolation flight, falling in a supertiebreaker to a player from Duquesne.
Doubles action gets underway on Friday, as will the main singles draw.
