Hawks Battle To 2-2 Draw With UMass

Emily Hanrahan and Natalie Nevins each scored for Saint Joseph's as the Hawks battled to a 2-2 draw with UMass on Sunday afternoon at Sweeney Field.

How It Happened
• Emma Pedolzky gave the Minutewomen the early 1-0 lead as her shot from in the box curled inside the far post to make it 1-0 in favor of UMass at 10:16. 
• Saint Joseph's didn't allow the Massachusetts' lead to last long as Jayda Shehadi found a streaking Hanrahan for the equalizer at 11:07.
• UMass' Bella Recinos gave the visitors the lead once again as she converted a penalty kick at 56:26 to make it 2-1.
• Nevins evened the match at 2-2 at 67:55 with a shot from the left side of the box that beat the Minutewomen's goalkeeper Bella Mendoza.

Inside The Boxscore
• Hanrahan netted her team-leading fourth goal of the season.
• Nevins goal was her third of the year.
Katie Cappelletti made four saves on the afternoon.
