Men’s Cross Country Concludes Season at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's men's cross country closed the 2024 season on Friday afternoon, competing at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional on Penn State's campus.
 
ABOUT THE EVENT
  • The Hawks finished 18 out of 27 teams on the afternoon.
  • 192 runners competed in the 10k event, held at the Penn State Cross Country Course.
 
HOW THE HAWKS FINISHED
  • Michael Glavin finished with the fastest time for the Crimson and Gray, placing 77th with a time of 31:39.7 in his debut in the 10k.
  • Kevin Jumper followed just behind with a time of 31:52.8, taking a finish of 88th  on the afternoon. Jumper's time set nearly a 16-second personal best set at the Mid-Atlantic Regional two years ago.
  • Ryan Cichocki concluded the season with a time of 32:11.6 to finish just outside of the top 100 after making his debut in the 10k.
  • Also making his 10k distance debut, Dawson Baptiste registered a time of 32:23.2 as the fourth Hawk to cross the finish line.
  • Josh Forrest rounded out the scoring for St. Joe's, finishing with a time of 32:29.7.
  • Will Rau (32:46.8) and Jack Bolling (33:23.7) rounded out the finishes for the Hawks on the afternoon.
