Xzayvier Brown scored a season-high 27 points, including the game-winning free throws with 7.4 seconds remaining, as Saint Joseph's edged past Saint Louis for an 87-86 win on Saturday afternoon at Hagan Arena.

• Saint Joseph's jumped out to a 6-0 lead on consecutive three-pointers from
Xzayvier Brown and
Cameron Brown.
• Sincere Parker brought Saint Louis to within 10-7 on a basket at 16:53.
• Ahead 13-9, the Hawks used an 8-0 run to open a 21-9 advantage on a
Rasheer Fleming layup.
• The Billikens chipped away at St. Joe's lead, and behind a 10-0 run, opened a 42-37 lead on a Terrence Hargrove, Jr. basket with 1:44 left in the half.
• Down 45-39, the Hawks ended the half on a 4-0 run as
Lynn Greer III beat the buzzer to get Saint Joseph's within 45-43 at halftime.
• Saint Joseph's scored the opening four points of the second period to retake the lead, 47-44.
• Following a three-pointer by Saint Louis, the Hawks put together an 8-0 run as
Xzayvier Brown gave St. Joe's a 55-48 lead on a three-pointer at 16:39.
• Saint Joseph's built its lead to 71-60, but the Billikens responded with a 16-2 run as Terrence Hargrove, Jr. made it 76-73 in favor of the Billikens with 4:41 to play.
