PHILADELPHIA – Sparked by the second double-double of the season by
Lynn Greer III, Saint Joseph's rallied from a 12-point second half deficit to top La Salle, 88-82, on Saturday afternoon at Tom Gola Arena. Greer III scored 14 of his 16 points in the second half, and added a game-high 10 rebounds to help the Hawks earn their second consecutive win and improve to 15-7 overall and 5-4 in the Atlantic 10.

• After a back-and-forth start that featured three lead changes and two ties, the Explorers jumped out to a 17-10 lead behind seven straight points.
• A pair of free throws by
Anthony Finkley inched the Hawks ahead, 22-21, at 11:27.
• A driving layup by
Erik Reynolds II made it 26-23 in favor of St. Joe's.
• La Salle answered with a 10-0 run to take a 33-26 lead on a pair of free throws by Anwar Gill at 5:22.
• Reynolds II brought the Hawks to within 33-31 on a three-pointer.
• The Explorers opened their biggest lead of the half, 42-32, as Andres Marrero capped a 9-1 run with a three-pointer with 1:20 remaining in the half.
• Down 44-38 at halftime,
Christ Essandoko cut the Hawks' deficit to 50-46 on a three-point play less than three minutes into the second half.
• Back-to-back three-pointers by the Explorers made it 56-46 at 15:16.
• Down 64-52, Saint Joseph's used a 9-0 run as a three-pointer by Reynolds II brought the Hawks to within 64-61 with 9:29 to go.
• Jahmir Brickus extended La Salle's lead to 69-61 on a three-pointer at 8:08.

Cameron Brown three-pointer, Saint Joseph's scored 12 straight points as Greer III made it 73-69 in favor of the Hawks on a three-point play with 5:33 to go.
• The Explorers cut St. Joe's lead to two, 73-71, but the Hawks never relinquished the lead as they got a pair of key baskets from Greer III and
Xzayvier Brown, and SJU closed the game out by going 12-14 from the foul line in the final five minutes.
