Men's Basketball Falls To #18/17 Dayton

Saint Joseph's Cameron Brown scored a team-high 19 points as he matched the program record for games played with his 135th appearance, but #18/17 Dayton pulled away from the Hawks in the second half for a 94-79 decision at Hagan Arena on Tuesday evening.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's used a 10-0 run to break a 5-5 tie as a jumper by Lynn Greer III made it 15-5 less than four minutes in.
• The Hawks extended its lead to 21-10 on a three-pointer by Cameron Brown.
• Dayton countered and took its first lead, 24-23, as Kobe Elvis capped a 12-0 run with a three-pointer at 6:25.
• Sparked by a Greer III jumper, St. Joe's scored seven straight to take a 30-24 advantage on a basket by Christ Essandoko.
• The Hawks took a 38-34 lead into the second half, but the Flyers quickly erased it as the visitors opened the half on a 27-6 run with a layup by Nate Santos making it 61-44 in favor of Dayton.
• Saint Joseph's fought back, but the Flyers kept the Hawks at a distance, allowing them to get no closer than 10 points.
