DALLAS – Saint Joseph's junior designated hitter Ryan Cesarini has been named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Preseason All-America Third Team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.
 
A native of Archbald, Pennsylvania, Cesarini was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association All-Region First Team and the All-Atlantic 10 Second Team in 2023 after leading the conference in batting average at .392.  He also posted a team-leading 78 hits, 17 doubles, 56 runs batted in, .618 slugging percentage, and .470 on-base percentage in helpling lead the Hawks to the program's first-ever Atlantic 10 regular season championship.
 
Cesarini and the Hawks open the 2024 campaign on Friday, February 16, when they host Canisius at Smithson Field.
