BETHLEHEM, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to Lehigh, 5-2, at the Lewis Indoor Tennis Center on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Lehigh took the early advantage with a sweep of the three doubles flights.

• The Mountain Hawks then clinched the match victory with wins in the top three singles flights.  Charlotte Kordonowy earned a point for the Hawks with a 6-3, 6-4 win in the fourth flight, before the teams split the final two flights.  Ireland Amato was a winner for the Hawks, taking an 8-5 victory in a sixth-flight pro set.

"We had some battles tonight," head coach Jeff Puhan said.  "We were a few points from winning that match, 4-3.  Charlotte got a much-needed victory today.  Time to bounce back quickly to take on Lafayette tomorrow."
