Men's Basketball Flies Past Fordham, 82-69

Leading wire-to-wire, Saint Joseph's returned to the win column as the Hawks down Fordham, 82-69, on Saturday afternoon at Hagan Arena.

How It Happened
• Saint Joseph's took control from the tip as the Hawks ran out to a 10-0 lead, capped by an Erik Reynolds II three-pointer.
• A thunderous dunk by Lynn Greer III extended St. Joe's lead to 35-12 with 6:17 left in the first.
• Fordham used a 12-0 run to get within 44-27 on a basket by Japhet Medor with 1:58 to go in the half.
• The Hawks took a 41-27 lead into the second half, but the Rams opened the period on a 9-1 run to make it 38-47 on a three-pointer by Kyle Rose.
• A pair of Rose free throws brought Fordham to within seven, 51-44.
• Reynolds II connected on a three-pointer to push the Hawks' lead to 60-46.
• Ahead 70-56, Saint Joseph's scored six straight as a three-point play by Rasheer Fleming opened a 76-56 lead with 4:43 to go.
• The Hawks allowed Fordham to get no closer than the final score as Saint Joseph's improved to 13-3 on Hawk Hill this season.
