MERION STATION, Pa. – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team fell to NJIT, 6-1, on a blustery Wednesday afternoon at the SJU Tennis Complex.
HOW IT HAPPENED

Charlotte Kordonowy and
Brooke Tackett won their third-flight doubles match, 7-5, but the visitors took the first two flights to claim the doubles point.
• NJIT won the first five singles flights to win the match.
Ireland Amato secured a point for Saint Joseph's, cruising to a 6-1, 6-3 triumph in the sixth flight.
