WASHINGTON – The Saint Joseph's women's tennis team has been seeded 12th for the 2024 Atlantic 10 Women's Tennis Championship, set to get underway on Wednesday at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
The Hawks will take on fifth-seeded Davidson in the opening round on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. The winner will meet either fourth-seeded Fordham or 13th-seeded George Mason in the quarterfinals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The semifinals and championship match follow on Friday and Saturday.
VCU earned the top seed for the 11th consecutive season, with Saint Louis and UMass being seeded second and third, respectively, and earning byes to the quarterfinals. Rhode Island is seeded sixth after Fordham and Davidson, with Dayton seventh, Richmond eighth, George Washington ninth, Duquesne 10th, and St. Bonaventure 11th.
Video for all rounds of the Championship will be available free of charge through the USTA's Playsight system, allowing viewers to choose which court they are watching. Admission to the Championship is free.
