RICHMOND, Va. – The Saint Joseph's men's tennis team wrapped up its weekend trip to Virginia on Sunday, falling at Richmond by a 6-1 score.
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Richmond was the winner in both of the first two doubles flights, clinching the first point of the day.

Ernesto Ruy outlasted his second-flight singles opponent, taking a 5-7, 6-3, 10-0 supertiebreaker victory, but the Spiders would win the remaining flights to claim the match.

"We came out a little flat in doubles play today," head coach
Jeff Puhan said. "We started singles with better energy. Ernesto played a solid match today. It was a long weekend, and we'll get ready for our rivals at Villanova on Wednesday."
