PHILADELPHIA – Saint Joseph's men's soccer head coach Don D'Ambra announced the 2024 schedule on Monday afternoon, a 17-game season highlighted with nine home games.
 
The Hawks open the slate with a home-opener against Merrimack on August 22, the first meeting between the two teams in program history. St. Joe's then heads to Virginia on August 29, closing out the month against one of the ACC's best programs in the Cavaliers.
 
The Crimson and Gray continue a road stretch with matchups against Rider and Loyola (Md.) on September 2 and September 6, before hosting Army West Point in a rematch of a 3-2 thriller last season that saw Blake Driehuis record a hat trick to overcome a deficit in the win.
 
St. Joe's heads back on the road for a Friday evening matchup against UMBC on September 13 before returning to Sweeney Field for a three-game homestand. Bryant enters Hawk Hill on September 17 before the Hawks kick off the Atlantic 10 season with a September 21 contest against Davidson. The stretch of home games ends with a Philly Soccer Six matchup against Temple on September 24.
 
The Hawks return to A-10 play with road contests against Duquesne (September 28) and Massachusetts (October 5) before hosting La Salle in a city matchup on Wednesday, October 9. After a trip down to the nation's capital to take on George Washington (October 12), St. Joe's concludes the non-conference lineup with a midweek matchup against Mount St. Mary's on October 15.
 
Saint Joseph's meets George Mason at Sweeney Field on October 19 for the first meeting since 2021 against the Patriots. Wrapping up the home schedule, the Hawks welcome Rhode Island to Philadelphia on October 26. St. Joe's concludes the regular season with a trip to the Midwest to take on Loyola Chicago.
 
The top eight teams in the conference at the end of the regular season will advance to the 2024 Atlantic 10 Championship, with the highest seed of the matchup hosting in each round of the tournament. The A-10 Championship begins on November 8/9, With the semifinal matchups beginning on November 13 and the championship game set for Sunday, November 17.
