Saint Joseph's rookie
Sarah Fisher tallied her second goal of the season as the Hawks played to a 1-1 draw against VCU on Thursday evening at Sweeney Field.
How It Happened
• Fisher gave St. Joe's the early lead as she gathered a loose ball in the VCU box, and perfectly placed a shot off the far left post and into the net at 6:26.
• The Rams' Kanna Matsuhisa evened the match less than five minutes later as she scored off a crossing pass to make it 1-1 at 11:12.
• Neither team would register a shot on goal for the remainder of the first half.

Katie Cappelletti stood tall in the second half, turning away each of VCU's scoring chances to help the Hawks earn their second consecutive point in conference play.
