DAVIDSON, N.C. – Aleah Snead scored a career-high 22 points as the Saint Joseph's women's basketball earned its fifth-consecutive win after beating Davidson, 60-46, inside Belk Arena on Wednesday evening.
Snead led all scorers with her 22 points on 9-12 from the field to set a new career-best mark.
Laura Ziegler notched her fifth double-double in as many games as she finished with 14 points and 14 rebounds. All eight Hawks to enter the game scored in the win.
Tomisin Adenupe was the only Wildcat to finish with double-digit scoring, leading Davidson with 14 points. Kyra Bruyndoncx registered eight points and eight rebounds in the loss.
The lead changed five times in the opening frame, Davidson (10-10, 5-3 Atlantic 10) holding the advantage after 10 minutes with a 14-9 lead. Saint Joseph's (16-4, 7-2 Atlantic 10) used a 17-0 run in the second quarter to turn a eight-point deficit into a nine-point lead before taking a 32-26 lead into the half.
The Hawks built the lead to as many as 16 points in the early stages of the fourth quarter, able to distance themselves from the Wildcats to secure the fifth-consecutive win.

- Snead scored 13 of her 22 points in the first half, shooting 5-7 from the field with five steals in the opening 20 minutes. Her previous high was set in the season opener against Goldey-Beacom, tallying 14 points against the Lightning. The sophomore finished with career-highs in points, steals (five) and field goals made.
- Entering fifth in the nation in rebounding, Ziegler continued to dominate the glass with 14 rebounds. The junior is second in the country with 16 double-doubles, recording her 37th of her career.
- The Hawks finished 22-53 (41.5 percent) from the field, outrebounding the Wildcats by a 43-25 margin.
- The 46 points allowed marks the third-lowest output from an opponent on the season, only Goldey-Beacom (30) and Saint Francis (35) scoring fewer than Davidson.
- St. Joe's is now 13-1 all-time against Davidson, with the .923 win percentage the highest against a single opponent (min. 10 meetings). The Hawks have won the last six against the Wildcats.
