PHILADELPHIA – Alli Popham made eight saves, but a pair of second half goals saw the Saint Joseph's women's soccer team upended by the Drexel Dragons, 2-0 on Thursday night.

• Popham's eight saves tied for the most by an A-10 goalie this season.
• Maddie Anderson, Valentina Nardone and Jayda Shehadi each recorded a shot for the Hawks.

 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Popham came up big twice in the opening quarter hour, making a sprawling kick save in early in the 15th minute. 30 seconds later, she slid to her right to catch a shot that was targeted for the lower left corner of the net.
• After a couple early stops by Popham in the second half, Drexel scored the first goal of the contest in the 51st minute on a cross from the right side.
• The Dragons punched home the second tally of the contest just past the midway point of the frame.
