WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Saint Joseph's softball team was picked fourth in the Atlantic 10 Preseason Poll as announced by the conference office on Friday.
The Hawks garnered 50 points in the poll of the conference head coaches. Fordham topped the list with 75 points and five of the 10 first place votes, and was followed by Dayton in second with 68 points and two first place votes. Saint Louis was third with 62 points and two first place votes, followed by Saint Joseph's at 50.
George Washington (44), Loyola Chicago (38), George Mason (34), Rhode Island (20) and St. Bonaventure (14) rounded out the poll.
St. Joe's opened its 2026 season on Thursday with a 3-1 victory over Elon, before falling to North Carolina, 4-1.
