WASHINGTON, D.C. – Saint Joseph's midfielder
Megan Sanelli was named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday.
Sanelli totaled a career-high six points in Saint Joseph's 16-15 victory over George Mason, helping lift the Hawks to the road win. The Collegeville, Pa., native matched her career high with four goals, all coming in the first half, while adding two assists.
Her second assist of the afternoon proved to be the game-winner, setting up the decisive goal with under five minutes remaining.
The junior has already surpassed her previous career highs this season, recording 16 points and 14 goals — more than her first two seasons combined.
