GAME 1: Saint Joseph's 6, La Salle 5
Â
HOW IT HAPPENED
• Saint Joseph's (28-14 overall, 18-2 Atlantic 10) took the lead in the top of the third. With the bases loaded and one out,

Alex Kelsey to score the game's first run.Â
Blake Primrose then came in to score on a failed pickoff attempt to double the advantage.
Â
• The Explorers threated in the bottom of the third, but with two on and one out,
Tim Dickinson caught a line drive at second and fired to first in time for an inning-ending double play.
Â
• La Salle (18-25 overall, 4-16 Atlantic 10) got on the board in the bottom of the fourth on a solo home run by Carter Groen.
Â
• The Hawks extended the lead in the sixth. Primrose led off with a double before Janesko walked and Dickinson was hit by a pitch to load the bases; a throwing error by the La Salle catcher brought home Primrose before a single by

Joey Pagano then brought in a run with a double before a Janesko single made it 5-0.
Â
