DANBURY, Conn. – Saint Joseph's sophomore catcher
Blake Primrose was named to the Division I Baseball All-ECAC Team on Tuesday morning.

The Atlantic 10 Player of the Year and a First Team All-Conference selection, Primrose led the Atlantic 10 in batting average, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, OPS, runs scored, and home runs; he also ranked second in the league in runs batted in and walks.

Primrose set new single-season program records with 24 home runs, 78 runs scored, and 72 RBI, while his 48 walks are the second-most hy a Hawk in a single season and his 81 hits are tied for third. He was a three-time A-10 Player of the Week honoree, was tabbed for the
Baseball America Team of the Week on April 14, and was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association's National Hitter of the Month for April.

The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, native was also named one of 16 semifinalists for the Buster Posey Award, given to the nation's top collegiate catcher.
