"We are thrilled to be a part of Team IMPACT and could not be more excited to bring someone of Amir's caliber to the Hawks," said head coach Steve Donahue. "His enthusiasm and energy will help to improve our team in every way. We can't wait to see what he can do as a part of our practices and games!"

Amir is 15 years old and lives with Diamond-Blackfan Anemia. A native of Darby, Pa., he lives with his mom, Norma, stepdad, Kevin, and his three siblings, Kayla, Jayden, and Massiah.
