PHILADELPHIA – The Saint Joseph's women's basketball team earned Special Mention recognition on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Team Honor Roll, the organization announced this week. The Hawks were recognized after posting a 3.618 cumulative team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
 
Under the direction of head coach Cindy Griffin, 13 Hawks recorded cumulative GPAs above 3.00, including nine student-athletes with GPAs of 3.50 or higher. Rising junior Cecilia Kay led the way with a perfect 4.00 GPA.
 
The Hawks have earned recognition in each season since 2022, when the WBCA recognized all teams with a 3.0 or better GPA to the honor roll.
